Hi Friends,

Some of you may know me from our instagram but for our new friends, my name is Sophia! I'm a young trainer whose dedicated her life to learning about these amazing creatures we all love so much! I started my training journey four years ago, after being unable to find a trainer to help me train my service dog. I've attended many universities over the years, originally studying criminal psychology. However after unforeseen circumstances in my life, I found myself wanting to learn more about canines! I quickly realized how deep this world goes, there's so much to learn about dogs. Really, there's much to learn in all fields but I find myself again and again in dogs. They are masters of communication and yet they struggle in our human world. For a long time it confused me to see so many dogs struggling with the same issues, all over the world! So many professionals, extremely passionate about "their way" or "their method" and yet so many dogs struggling, all the same. So I did my research, lots and lots of research! Constantly pushing myself to find more information, new ways of thinking. And eventually I did. Lots of it, so many trainers all over the world hidden between the big screens and propaganda of the dog world. People who have learned the language of dog, and want to share that knowledge to others. It changed my life, my eyes were opened to so much. I graduated from multiple programs and schools, talked to other trainers, and learned how to work with all types of dogs. Working with sport dogs, service dogs, pet dogs, trick dogs, and more. I found a passion for each discipline, sport, job, etc. The obsession grew and grew, then I started taking my own clients specializing in behavior modification, service dogs, pet dogs, and advanced performance. There will always be more to learn about dogs, and as a trainer it's imperative I stay learning.
